EQUIPMENT REPAIR
Our repair process starts with a detailed inspection to assess blade pin alignment and thickness, as well as to check for any stress fractures near the base of the pins. We also examine all bearing diameters and spline ends to determine if additional welding or machining is required. We then measure bulkheads, inner pins, take TIR (Total Indicator Reading) measurements, and perform a pressure test to ensure all leaks and cracks are properly sealed.
The repair process for cylinders begins by stripping all existing chrome from the inner diameter. A comprehensive inspection follows to assess the necessary welding and machining. If required, the outer diameters are welded and machined back to factory specifications. Once welding and machining are completed, the cylinder is honed to achieve the correct micro-finish. Finally, the cylinder is re-chromed and polished to a mirror-like finish.
The first step in our remanufacturing and repair process is a thorough inspection of all bushings, bearings, diameters, and straightness. Each unit is checked for any leaks before undergoing a pressure test. After repairs, the unit is polished, inspected, and securely shipped in a durable wooden crate. All dimensions adhere to factory standards, and we offer customization for any special applications upon request. A detailed report of all work performed is available upon request.
